The best way to find classmates is of course contacting the school you both attended. The school will many times have former student information and contact details.

Facebook People Search

- At Facebook you can do a "Classmate Search".

First sign in. Then, on your Facebook Home page, scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page.

Click on "Find Friends". Here you scroll down a little again and under Search for People, you can see a link called "Find former high school classmates".

If you have added your college into your profile, you will also see a link where it says "Find classmates from your college".

Facebook can really be used as a good classmate people locator.

Myspace

- Another site that is good to use to locate old classmates is Myspace.
Go to myspace.com and sign up or sign in if you have an account already.

Go to the section called "Classmate Finder". There you type in the details of your old classmate and hit search.

When we graduated in 1998, she moved away and gave me her new address. I sent her a letter, but she never replied. Then I moved to another country. I was thinking about her a few times. Wondering what happened to her.

Many years later I found her on Facebook. It was great to talk to her again and tell her everything that had happened to me since high school. About my life and about my son. We kept in touch and I was there when she met the man that is now her husband. Now she also has two wonderful kids. That's life. And its much better if we share it with the people we care about.

So it is possible to locate a person / find old classmates with Facebook :)
