How do you find or search people by name?

Knowing the full name of the person you are looking for is a great start!

Many people who are looking for someone only know the persons nickname or they have some other information about the person, like an old address or school, but don't know or remember the full name. So if you do, you are lucky!

Put the name of the person in the Title of the page and a few times in the text. Write as much as you can about the person, and its a great recipe for finding that person!

You can of course find people by name using one of the better people finders out there. But you will not always find the person you need to find that way. Other times you will.

When you do a people search by name using a people finder, it will search all public records for you, and it will show you everything it can find about the name you typed into that search engine.

A people search engine is not the same as a database. It does not control the data or results it finds for you.

If the name you have entered is a quite common name, you might end up with results of many different people.

It is not always easy to find the exact person you are looking for, especially if you have the name of your friend but no other info at all.

If you have a little more information on the friend or family member you need to find, then you could also run a credit request on them and get their current address.

If they aren't paying their own rent, then they may not have a current address in the system. Usually, though, a credit report will point you in the right direction.

Be careful of doing credit checks online if the website is not run by a well known and trusted company.
