Military People Search

Becoming a member at a good paid or free military people search engine or program will help you find people you have not talked to for ages! It will also greatly help you stay connected with the military community.

There is one people search engine for the military / website to find people who have served in the army, called Military.com - that you should know about when searching for someone you served with years ago.

But what can you do if you are looking for someone who is in the army right now?

Military People Search You could use the special locator service the United States Army has available for you, and also of course the United States Navy, United States Marine Corps and the United States Air Force.

The way it works is, you should mail them (by post) with your request and they will mail the results to you.

This service is free for immediate family members but more distant family members or friends must pay a fee of USD 3.50.

Find People by Army ID

It is very good if you have the army ID number of the person you are trying to locate. Use the service above and add the Army ID of the person in your letter.

I asked private investigator Tom Collins about how to find people in the army.

How can we find someone in the army?

"More times than not you need a social security number, date of birth and military ID number. If it is a ranking military official, you may find change of command or articles written about that person".
