People Search USA
People Search USA Something as simple as searching for the person you need to find on Google might be helpful when looking for clues on the person's whereabouts. For example, if I would be searching for Ann Johnson, I would write it like this in the search box: "Ann Johnson". It is important to include the " signs before and after the name. If you have already done this without luck, you can try finding your friend or relative on one of the people finders. Like the Yahoo people finder or then at 411.com Also search on Facebook, LinkedIn and Myspace. When doing your own people search USA, you can also search your friend's or relatives name on the US Search website. But be careful, Private Investigator Tom Collins says this about reverse search programs and people search sites in general: "Many Internet sites say they have the information, but the site just baits you and will cost you more money. Because the site was only partially correct on the information. Reverse searches are a great example of not really getting what you expected or needed".
Here private detective Tom Collins talks about how to best go about doing your own people search USA:
"In the United States, beside the usual USA search engines on the Internet already mentioned, I will be focusing on the comment "know as much about the person as possible before starting your search". Always start with the most recent information and work back, staleness will cost you time and time is money to you. Look for leads. Relatives Relatives are usually a reliable way to get the most current information - if the relative is willing to talk about the person. Neighbors and Co-workers Many times past neighbors know something, so do not ignore an old address. A neighborhood canvas will usually give you good leads. Neighbors and co-workers can provide you with leads - do not overlook the obvious. They may not be willing to give you the number but will many times call the person and have them call you. Again depending on your reason to locate the person dictates your options. Do a Pre-Text Once armed with your leads, you can do a pre-text (an investigators word for telling a lie to get the information desired without revealing who you are or what your purpose was/is). When using a pre-text be careful and do not use a real person's name, do not say you represent a real business or entity because you may be open to civil /criminal penalties if you do not follow correct procedures and do it correctly. As mentioned, your reason to find the person will dictate your methods you need to use, finding an old classmate is one thing but finding someone running from the police or creditors is another. Newspaper Archives Newspaper archives are also a good place to find articles concerning the person being sought. It will give you the circumstance which caused the writer to focus/mention the person being sought. Some other good sources that are already mentioned elsewhere on this site are whitepages.com, phone books and to cross reference directories."
